Pembrokeshire Walks

Cwm yr Eglws

Grade: Easy

Distance: 2.5 miles

Cwm-yr-Eglwy is on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath, between Fishguard and Newport. By definition, it is, therefore, worth visiting!

It is an ancient, ruined church on a sandy beach, with a car park and toilets. Dogs can be taken on the beach.

Start the walk here and take the level tarmac path that cuts through the valley to Pwllgwaelod on the opposite side of the peninsula that is Dinas Island.

Return the same way. The footpath around the headland is not accessible for non-walkers.
